Sasol North America's CERALOX® high purity alumina manufacturing
facility is located in southeast Tucson, Arizona. The facility produces both high purity and ultra high purity alumina products.
Sasol produces high purity and ultra-high purity aluminas in gamma through alpha crystalline form for
use in high-tech industrial applications. Market applications include synthetic crystal growth, high purity and ultra-high purity
ceramics for semi-conductor processing, bio-ceramics, ceramics for translucent lighting components and
other specialty applications. Ceralox® aluminas are also used in fluorescent lamp coatings, phosphors, luminescent materials and specialty
abrasive products.
